Workwear

“At the time, I found fashion too complicated. I wanted to start again from scratch, taking work wear pieces as a basis. I brought a new take on painter’s pants, workman’s jackets, and mechanic’s jumpsuits and overalls..." agnès b. The idea of taking traditional workwear garments and modifying the fabric became an obsession for agnès b. and is an integral part of her collections.

Dungarees

“Clothes are no longer a sign of belonging.”
The emblem par excellence of the working attire: the dungarees agnès b. is particularly fond of. She has always offered dungarees in a range of fabrics, prints and colours.

Jumpsuits

Another garment that is part of the worker’s uniform: the jumpsuit. agnès b. loves to make a short version.

Work jackets

“I have always loved this blue which is the basis of French working clothes.” Initially worn by labor workers, blue work clothes were adopted by the students following the May 1968 protests. agnès b. incorporates these jackets into her collections and transforms them into everyday clothes.
