The raffia Afsana hat is made in Madagascar. With its very malleable design, you can give it the shape you want!
Natural material extracted from palm tree sheets, the raffia is cut, dried in the sun, softened ans sometimes cooked under ash. Cut in fine strips with a small knife, the long strands are then weaved. This ancestral method is done by hand at the weaver's house.
