agnès b. X Le Slip Français

agnès b. and Le Slip Français are combining their expertise for an exclusive capsule collection.

Made entirely in France, the 9-piece collection has been designed to be worn both inside and outside, with comfort, style and local manufacturing as the common threads.

This is a meaningful collaboration, as Guillaume Gibault, the Director of Le Slip Français explains, whose company is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year: "agnès b. was the first to trust me with our first collaboration in 2013. She has always defended Made in France and this has brought us together to think about the evolution of the textile industry."

Together

Together, they have redesigned iconic Le Slip Français pieces, reworking them in the styles that define agnès b.'s graphic world: in black and white, or using her handwritten phrases. These phrases come to her spontaneously and are regularly found in all her collections.

Le Slip Français is in charge of manufacturing the pieces in the capsule collection, the aim being to combine their respective expertise, as agnès b. higlights: "I was immediately attracted by Guillaume's approach, as our two houses are linked by common values such as the preservation of expertise in France".

Le Slip Français

Founded in 2011 by Guillaume Gibault, Le Slip Français is a "good to wear" brand: making comfortable and durable clothing with an uncomplicated style, essentials that are designed and made locally in workshops with exceptional expertise. All the manufacturing processes are carried out in France, from the weaving of the fabric, to the packaging.

As well as 115 employees at HQ and in 22 stores, Le Slip Français also employs the full-time equivalent of more than 220 people in the 29 workshops that make the products throughout the year. Eight of its partner-manufacturers have 'Origine France Garantie' (Guaranteed French Origin) certification and eight have 'Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant' (living heritage) status.

Le Slip Français was instrumental in the creation of 'Savoir Faire Ensemble', the collective effort by the French textile industry which, since March 2020, has been manufacturing protective masks and gowns. By valuing local players and modernising the field, Le Slip Français is reinventing the French textile industry with panache.
